We create a welcoming environment in which young and established professionals can reach out to each other to provide mentorship and networking.
We enhance the professional development of young professionals and prepare them to move into leadership positions and to take on positions of greater visibility and influence in their community.
Our team build connections through a range of events, including meetings, community events, and social meetups.
Our activities are aimed at developing leadership skills among our members, promoting civic participation and education, advancing coalitions, community building, and fostering cultural heritage. We are involved in many community service projects with other nonprofit organizations. Our largest event and fundraiser is the Vietnamese Heritage Festival (VietFest). Our funds support leadership programs, provide scholarships to young leaders and grants to community organizations, and promote the growth of NOVAL-DC.
